Default Transmission Fluid

I was going to replace my axles this weekend on my 99 Honda Accord V6 (Auto). While I am at it I wanted to drain the transmission fluid. I was wondering how much fluid (quarts) should I purchase. Reason I am asking is I am going to order the fluids online. Thanks

I think you will only get 3 qt's, maybe 4 out from a drain... remember A LOT of fluid will be locked up in the torque converter...

To properly drain it you have to drain and fill.. then drive a few days, and do it again.. then again... etc.. You get the point..

Why bother ordering online though? Fluids are normally going to cost about the same at your regular parts place...
Use genuine Honda ATF by the way... Trust me on that

3.1 US QT with fluid change, like he said after shipping you'll pay more online than just walking into the dealer to buy it.
