DX brakes vs. Si brakes?
I have a 90 DX hatchback. I picked up some front knuckles from a 90 or 91 CRX Si. I THOUGHT that they were going to be bigger brakes (Larger rotors, beefier calipers), but upon further investigation, I think I was mistaken.
So, without me going out and pulling my wheels and breaking out the measuring tape, is there any upgrade value to using the Si knuckles/brakes as opposed to my current DX brakes?
-I have read through the FAQ, and most of it is focused on the EX brakes.
-I am aware that I will need to get the Si axles when/if I swap knuckles.
-Would I be better off just trying to find the 90-91 EX front knuckles?

You are correct, they are the same size. The only difference in the Si is for the 90-91 CRX which came with rear disc brakes.
The 90-91 Civic EX Sedan did have bigger brakes up front though, but good luck finding a set of those.

the 90-91 CRX Si front brake CALIPERS are better than your DX calipers. that alone is all thats worth getting from up front. the knuckles and rotors are the same.
you will NOT need to swap axles. your dx axles will work fine. only HF and STD axles need to be swapped.
