ok, what does the little plastic thing on the end of the fuel rail do? i have my fuel pressure sending unit on top of my fuel filter, but i dont think its giving me correct readings, and id like to put it on the rail.

 

It's supposed to smooth out fuel flow from the fuel pump... I ditched mine hehe.
