A friend of mine has been building his 95 Del Sol the last two years and now he is in the final stretch and installing his interior. We where wiping down some of the plastic panels for below the speakers near the seat belt area for the rear and came across this.

This is the passenger side panel. It is some kind of vent but is the size of a penny. On the rear is two tabs for screws and a opening for a plug of some cert. Anyone know what it is for?

 

this makes me wanna go look at my sol right now..ive never noticed it and ive tore the back trim out a couple times

 

its for sleeping gas modules so that you can get girls in your car and then take them home. because your too ugly to get them to go home with you anyways

some type of vent idk what it could be for. mabey it was for a add on for only euro cars or over in japan. then again could be ment for that mad VTAC LOL. im curious as to what it is for.

Its a vent for the motor cooling fan for the Transtop option.

 

i was thinking some kind of cooling vent, but didnt even think of a cooling vent for transtop motor!

 

Yup. well thats for the tilter motor.
