My setup. 89 crx hf completely gutted
usdm b18c1...with 2.5" CAI, jdm dc 4-1, open exhaust(which really didnt help becasue i still got the same MPH with exhaust and street tires) ITR intake cam(advanced 2 degrees) skunk 2 IM, slightly larger tb, act 6 puck, b16a J1 tranny(no lsd)chipped b16a ecu, and me adding some fuel up top from the vafc...and not tuned yet.
Well I finally broke onto the 13's. But I could only muster one 13.7@97MPH run. The rest were 14.0(alot of those) to a 14.5. I need some new slicks!! the 20x6x13 are just not cutting it anymore. I did not hear nor feel the damn slicks grab. I was geting 2.1-2.4 60ft. When i got the 13.7 it was with a 1.8 60ft. I do not know how the hell that happened. So i decided towards the end of the night to throw the street tires on. Well, needless to say they werent that great....but i did get a 14.3@97 MPH(and that was with my igniter failing). Yes ...during that run, my igniter took a ****. basically my tach was jumping like from 4-9k back and forth. Well, i just thought i would share that with you. Also do you guys think i can squeeze a mid 13 with a 97mph???

congrats on 13s at that shitty track. Take a road trip to bakersfield or carlsbad and you should run low 13s with good slicks

 

congrats manny! its a tougher time for the car to get fast times up in LACR.
thats a good low13 to high 12 at a better track.

We are almost gone on the LEnsos' but we do have a used
lenso(white)/M&H22x8x13 on hand if you want a set ASAP.

running 13's all motor at LACR is very very respectable! congrats

 

thats the reason I like running at LACR thanx guys, i have been trying to get in the 13's for sometime now....but it seems like problems would always come up. Also would i be able to get a mid 13 from the 97 MPH im running???? thanx again. I hope to post me being in the 12sec club soon.

IMHO, you'd be struggling to go much quicker with that mph. Still, congrats on getting into the 13 second club. Hopefully I will be in the same club (but a different hemisphere) next week......

 

hhhmmmmmmm, well I guess hopefully with some lighter rims(lenso) and bigger slick(22x8x13) i might be able to get a mid 13, or atleast get a 13.6. I was running 14" steelies, with bald 20x6x14 slicks. thanx for your responce. And you will defenetly be in the 13 sec club with that MPH.

Holy ****! Mgast on here runs nearly Identical times with pretty much the same setup. Just his is in an EG hatch.
