Default NRG quick release problem

ok so i have the think version one and all the sudden the safety button to turn the quick release button had came off. i found everything on the floor and dont know how to put it back together. i ve seen a link before on how to fix those thing before but am having trouble finding it. can anyone help me with this. another thing is the spring that goes in there is all bend and streached somehow and was wondering if it is suppose to be like that or do i need a new spring. thanks. also i am not sure where to put this thread so if its at teh wrong place, sorry.

thats a easy fix straighten out the spring then put it back in, then followed by the pressing the button on top, then hold it in and behind the qr there shoukld be a small screw, screw the tiny screw in, and it should fix your problem holding.

Find the small allen set screw that holds the button in place on the quick release:



This set screw probably came loose, causing your button to pop or drop out. Loosen the set screw:



Place the button with spring side first back into place:





Press the button all the way in and tighten the set screw. Do not overtorque the set screw!!!



Once tightened, the button should be back in its working place.



FIXED!!!!!!!

thats what i thought happened. this happened to me but the little lip(idk the name for it) on the inside of the button broke on mine, but since it has broken it hasn't worked any differently
