Default Where can I get a flywheel cover?

Just noticed my car doesn't have one and I assume it's why it sounds like I have terrible brakes everytime I downshift (it's annoying when everyone goes man your brakes are bad, when I never hit the pedal). Where can I just find an OEM one? Honda?

Also, I popped in a knock sensor today on my Y8. I got the ECU cleared but no VTEC. I ran it to third to try and the light came back on, I haven't ran back to autozone since then so I don't know if the CEL is still for the sensor or the other code that was on. The sensor isn't butt to butt to the block persay, there's about 2 to 3 mm of thread still sticking out due to it only being hand tightened. Is it still too far out?? I plan to pop off the mani and tighten it Friday. Will that fix VTEC? Only other code was an idle manlfunc.

Appriciate the help!

You can get the clutch case cover aka "inspection plate" at a salvage yard or an online salvage yard network, Honda dealer, or you can find one for sale right here on H-T from someone who is too baller to use it.

Alright thanks! Any idea about my sensor? Does it have to be tight to the block to work? I had a helluva time getting it to where it is now without taking things apart

What engine/trans do you need the cover for? I may have one laying around.

You can get to the knock sensor from underneath the car, it's a bit of a pain to do but it's much easier and faster than removing the intake manifold. Removing the oil filter will give you more room iirc.

And I will never understand why people don't use those covers. I guess they want **** to get in there.

Yeah, I tried that with a 1/2 socket wrench and it was a bitch to be under the pan, I did see I was missing the plate which was good. I thought the port was right beside the filter and my heart dropped when the sensor was too small. I then researched and then found the damn hole right under the 3rd runner. I tried both methods of above the car and under but left about 3 mm out of the hole. Is it still too far for the ECU to recognize it? And just popping the bolts off the mani from the block will allow me to just move it back and get to the sensor. Maybe a 1 to 2 hour job on a Friday afternoon. I just really want VTEC. Also, it's a y7/y8 mini me with the 5 speed Ex tranny
