ok so im cleaning out my engine bay to get ready for paint but how can i take out all the harnesses, wires, etc.. to get my bay completely shaved.
Beacause they go behind the bay towards the dash board but i dont wanna take em off like that anyone got any ideas or can help ?

 

are you taking the motor out?
and if you going to shave your aby why dont you tuck your bay as well? this would clear your wring problem just take all your wiring off and pull it all through the 2 grommets.. one under the brake booster and the other under your fuel filter

 

no the motor is already out..
and well i just wanna leave it like that but not have to worrie about not painting the bbrake booster etc..

 

Stop being lazy and just do it.

ok.. you said you were going to completely shave your bay? am i correct?
if so its pointless as f**K
why in the hell would you shave a bay and keep the wires in there?

you can disconect each set of wires from your bay itself... once you do this put the grommets into the cabin area.. next you will have to fish the wires through the holes
like i said theres one on each side
