The switch itself is the easier part to get. The recessed tweeter grille that fits the switch is harder to come by.

I had never even heard about this fog light switch tweeter thing til I got on here. And I've had 4 Preludes. And worked on more than I can count. What is it anyway?
and that should give you an idea of just how many are around lol.

 

It's a switch for the optional fog lights and it is cut into the tweeter cover on the driver side, you'd be better off making it yourself by cutting the cover. The JDM switch is much easier to come by which is the one your referring to cfran55.

Oh, and you can take your driver side like Mini said, there might be a cutout for that switch, or for a switch in general.
But it also might be on your passenger side too. Was looking at a forum, depends on who actually made the Prelude, if it was Japan's Facility or the Honda in America's facility. But if there's a cut out on your driver side, they said something about there being a harness and plug for the fog lights already. So you could put any style switch you want if it's back there and it would be pretty easy.

Been looking around. Can't find anywhere where you can just buy it. Only people that had or have Preludes that had that.

 

One guy was selling his JDM fogs, relay, and JDM tweeter switch for $175 on preludezone.

 

yeai just wanted to know how hard it was , i got jdm one piece headlights(black ones) , amber bumper lights, off the 93 and the fogs for 300 shipped. I just got the switch, i was looknig for the tweeter cover with the hole for the switch, if i cannot find it ill just cut it off myself. Mine has the template on the rear of the tweeter cover already. Just wanted to know if it was difficult to get.

I found that on another forum, can't remember which one now. They said it's much easier to just cut the template out and put your own switch and it should have the wiring already run behind the Tweeter Cover. I dnt think Honda actually still sells that Tweeter Cover now that they have the 5th Gens. Only ones I can find are Prelude Owners.

Here it is. One of the guys said he has 2 of them, but that was back in March.

Any 92-93(preface-lift) will have the plugs for the switch behind the tweeter cover while 94-96 will have them in the center console, no matter what though all models are wired for fogs from the factory.

 

Didn't know that Mini. I have a 92 with the 94 H22A Swap. I'll have to look at mine and see if it's there. Even though I have my fog light switch mounted on that bottom dash piece under the steering wheel. Close to the Center Console around the radio. xD And, because I like lights, it's a black switch with a lil blue led in it lol.

 

haha thats my picture up there. I just sold that switch and cover for like 60 beans i believe. I've come across a couple in my day. I just like the 94-96 tweeter cover better

 

I have one that i got in my fog light kit that i bought new from honda a couple months ago (last one left in country) i posted pics up in the "what have you done to your prelude?" thread maybe about 15-25 pages back..It came with EVERYTHING!!!! Fog light switch and tweeter cover...Doesnt get any better than that

 

I'm not sure how many are left now, but I bought the tweeter fog switch from Honda about a year ago for $40.

 

I got a switch like a week ago i was told theyonly had to left in the nation , Just TWO SWITCHES!!! I got one of those.
