As the title states, I just bought a 00 BB6 tonight. I've owned 12 hondas in the past (out of 15 cars total). I've had countless civics, a GSR, and I own a S2000 currently....but this is my first prelude. I'm going for the Honda sampler lol.
Anyway, my question is about the keyless entry. The car I bought didn't come with a key fob. Did all the 00 ludes come with keyless? So I'd just have to buy a fob and program it to the car? And...do I buy a fob with the trunk release button on it? I don't know if they came with a remote trunk release from the factory.
Also, I was maybe looking to mod it in the future. Nothing major. It's my daily. What's considered a "low" offset wheel and in what widths? I'm not going for hella flush status here or anything. I just want to fill out the fenders. I DON'T want to mod the fenders at all. I don't mind adding some additional neg. camber and I'm probably going to be on some lowering springs. Not too low.
LMK what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

No, keyless was an option but not standard.
I'm not up on my wheel specs, but for suspension Ground Control springs & Koni yellows for shocks are pretty much the consensus here.

Just dnt lower it and put 18's of any sort on it. My boy has a 01 SH and has it lowered with 18s on it and it scrapes everywhere. He even has low profile. I have a 4th gen, but 17s seem to fill both 4th and 5th gens pretty well. I dunno if it will work quite like mine, but I have KYB struts/shocks and their purple lowering springs and 17 inch rims with regular tires. No low pro. Sits to where the top of the tire runs with the bottom of the fender and sits about an inch away from the outside of the fender. Never scrapes or bounces for that matter lol.

Ok...I did an edmunds.com search and found out the car does have standard keyless entry. HOWEVER...I still need to know from any BB6 owners if the car has a trunk release built into the remote control. Thanks.
