Stage 1 or Stage 2, enuff for 13s

crower valvetrain
port and poslish head ( 96 Gsr head )
stock bottom (94 Gsr Bottom )
dentd tri y headers straight pipe to stock axle back( i no its very restrictive but its very quiet, which i need. but sometimes i feel it chokes the engine? someone answer that? )
aem short arm
chipped p72
gsr tranny
stage one clutch
Car is a EG, DAILY DRIVEN
my questions are would skunk 2 stage one cams with a tune be enuff to hit 13s? also
should i minus well go stage 2 cams instead of stage one?

I agree...I think you're going to want to go with stage 2 cams to get close to 13s. Look around the forum at other other builds...very few builds with stage 1 cams turning 13s. Mid-high 14s maybe.

Last year I was running a 14.5 at 94mph on a stock b18c1 bottom end with b16 head, and a stock ls header, I think with a better header/cold air intake and a tune I could have gotton high 13s so stage 2s would deff get you there ooo yeah I was only pulling 2.2 60 foot times
I would like to see someone who actually has stage 1s on a similar build as the OP post their ET/trap speed. I'm doubtful that stage 1s will get you there. Always willing to eat crow though.

OK, there are a lot of "there are guys that" and "I was close to" comments here. How about posting time slips and detailed build info? If I thought I could hit 13s on a stock B18C1 w/bolt-ons, I would never have gone through the trouble of building it. Like I said, there's a crow all ready for me to feast on. When I see time slips, I'll start scarfin'.
