Default Car shaking update

well i posted a thread a while back that my car shaked while on the freeway at 60+miles well yesterday i changed the Rear trailing arm bushings and it still shakes but not as much what eles can be the problem ?

Flat spots on tires, out of balance wheels, loose suspension parts, alignment, axles... it could be alot but i would start with balancing your tires.

well it onlt shakes side to side on the freeway and the tires are new and there tighten down good , can it be that it needs alignment??

might be ur rims as well..had the same problem..a bent on them so get em balanced and see..if the rims are good..maybe ur tire rods

out of allugnment wont shake, it will pull to one side and eat tires

im not sure what your asking.. when you balance a tire you make sure all sides weigh the same, so that when it spins the weight is evenly spun..

tires out of balance will cause shaking, its usually around 50-60mph when its a tire out of balance ..

If you have a steering wheel 'shimmy' at highway speeds, it can be bad driveshafts as well.

If your entire car shakes at highway speeds, it's either a wheel balancing issue or a wheel weight has fallen off, or flat spotted tires (from sitting for 1 year or so)

but here's the thing , it shakes the most in heavy traffic , and it light traffic not really , why is that ??

Do you have wheel locks ? Check to see if you have locking wheel lugs. Some locking lugs are as much as 1.5 ounces heavier than the other lug nuts which translates to about 1/2 ounce at the wheel rim. It can throw balance off.

lmao every time you say its shaking in high traffic and not low traffic. I think hey, maybe its cause hondas are like a tin can and wind is blowing it haha..
