I have a B18c5 motor with skunk2 pro series valvetrain and skunk flat face valves with stock bore CTR pistons. I was thinking of going with BC4's since I found a set locally for cheap. My question is this to wild of a cam for a my setup and are there gonna be issues with the ctr pistons?

I have stock intake,manifold and header with skunk catback exhaust.

I bought the car with these mods already. I researched CTR pistons and read that they raise the CR pretty high, like 12.5cr+. I searched for this cam setup already and didnt find much except for one guy who said his friend had the same setup and made 215whp.

no one can tell you because we have no idea what the clearances could possibly be.

 

You would have to measure the clearances yourself once you got the cams. You could run those cams, but you'd still need to check those things.

 

Ok but for the mods i have would I be better off going with something like a spec3 or pro 1's?

 

Any of those cams would work well for you, if you got a good deal on the BC 4's, I would just run them.
