Ok well i got a d16a1 it was burning oil so i decited to rebuild it ordering all my parts soon i had my head checked over by a shop it was all good i am getting all new gaskets bearings rings i have reseated all the valves have a si trans with 8lb fandaza flywheel and stage 2 clutch wanting to keep it a DD but plan on going turbo sometime hoping to keep my project going all summer but just want it back on the road heres some pics of what i got now
before

the way she sits for now
i pulled the oil pump apart to check the gaps it was all good so i did some small porting just to free up the oil flow hope to shim it before i put it on
just the front of the car is lowerd but early next year i plan on lowering the whole car lol and buying a camber kit

this is the hf flange tip welded to the end of the d16a1 mani it was pulled out quick and the cut it off insted of unbolting 2 bolts
im using the hf oil pan and pickup becouse the one to the d16a1 has a wedged shape and i have alredy dinted it badly almost poked a hole will post a pic later
since the heads off i cleened up the intake side a bit just sharpend the edges i know it needs the ruff surface i planed on trying to polish the exaust just havent had time

my way of keeping things straight
this is my hf tranny that i gutted and put si internals inside

Good start man. But a tip, if you want to show detail in a picture, instead of getting a close up, take the picture from a reasonable distance and then crop it. It makes it much easier to see what you're trying to show us.

I didnt have a tq wrench so i bought one.

Had time to paint my tranny today looks nice i thought.

Ralco shifter 40% throw reduction was 30 bucks and still had steel in it not a aluminim peace of crap. I orderd some more parts last night still waiting on my stuff to rebuild my engine funny thing is the shifter was the last thing shipped out and my engine stuff is still not here.

I am not a fan of you painting the block, head and trans black but your CRX is really clean and nice. I want me a CRX now.

I need to buy a valve spring compressor and i dont see how nobody likes the black.

Just put the pistons in now to put the rest.

There is half of the bearings in.

And here is it whith the crank and girdle tourqed down and ready to go.
