i dropped a b18b into my 98 ek and im having some problems getting it to stay running. The cel codes it throws are:
3-MAP
7- TPS
10-IAT
VTEC
Oxygen 1, 2
54-CKF?
My question is, is there anything that needs to be done to swap in an obd1 motor into an ek hatch to make it run smoothly? I just purchased an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness so i can use a p75 ecu and see if that helps anything but i tried switching the plugs around on the tps and the map and it was the same, then i bought a new throttle body and tried that and it was the same so im not sure. I heard something about going from a 3 wire to 2 wire but not sure if that was tps or map sensor that need to convert. Any input would be appreciated. I kinda want to get it up and running asap cuz my truck is cleaning out my bank account with gas so PLEASE HELP lol!!!

 

All those codes popping up leads me to believe your computer doesn't match your sensors.

 

im using a harness out of a 98 ex coupe so it has the vtec plugs on it but i have no vtec so i realize that wont matter and i also know that the IAT doesn't really matter either but the O2 sensors need plugged in and the TPS and MAP need to be right so im wondering if the jumper will help the problem. There is something that needs done with the TPS i think so it goes from 3 wire to 2 wire but i need a diagram.
