ok, im in the process of making my obd1 conversion harness for my car with new wires all around. i dont want to chance having wires break because of its age. i know there are a few wires that are shielded by ground wires. my question is how necessary is it to have these wires shielded?

would i run into any problems by not shielding them? or should i transfer over the shielded wire?
