i have asqueeky clutch pedal annoying, could this be a prelude to a problem? how can i correct it/catch the problem before it starts. Or does it just need a little grease?

figure out where the noise is coming from, it could be from the slave cylinder, hitting the shift fork

but if your sure the sound is from the pedal, i'd grease up the bolt that holds the pedal

and check the master cylinder
