Default Sticky Clutch

I just started noticing that my clutch pedal seems "sticky". It will engage right off the floor sometimes and seems to stick for a second? The clutch assembly only has 8k miles on it or so.

sounds like a bad clutch master cylinder.

look under your dash where the plunger comes through the firewall connects to the clutch pedal, if its wet there is your problem.

cost is approx $35 depending on what parts store you choose.

It is common in these cars for the slave or master cylinder to fail... In my experience though its more likely to be the slave than the master...

Agreed, check the slave cylinder, and this problem could be as dumb as your clutch pedal spring.

does it make a creaking noise when you push the pedal down?

if so that could be the slave cylinder.

or if you replaced the clutch, did you put some high temp grease on the input shaft? and where the slave cylinder touches the fork?

honda recommends to grease there (urea high temp grease is what i use)

There is no leaking anywhere. It only sticks once and awhile. This sounds weird but it never sticks while in a straight line. I only notice it happening when turning and starting out like in a drive threw?
