Honestly, the pipe statement is kinda true, but it comes down to personal preference and funding. If your looking for colored piping i know AEM offers that, im not sure if injen does or not. Check to see which one you can get cheapest though cause the end result will be basically the same regardless of brand.

Ebay 3" SRI arm with a BPI/Blox velocity stack and K&N filter. costs half the price of the intakes you have listed and makes twice the power.

that's exactly what I got, but with a Vibrant velocity stack, and an AEM filter. I love it.

if it's like part of the intake but not the air box itself it's a resonator box. It's basically there to quiet the intake noise.

Get a Comptech Icebox with a homemade velocity stack with Home Depot parts. Best bang for your buck unless you get a Mugen.

Amen..to that. thats my setup except I have a ac autotechnic Cai that I bought for 40 bux , I got hook ups there. Only reason was i wanted a carb sticker which it comes with it. Now I got rid of half the piping and im running it Sri with a v stack. Best setup ever. And ive tried a **** load of intakes.

Well it all depends on what you want, do you want to look good or gain power?

If you want looks, buy yourself a Whale *****.

If you want gains, get a ebay pipe and spend the money on something else. (Cams,Pistons, etc)

Well to be honest with intakes to me arent worth the money for the gain you get out of them. But if you are going for looks like everyone else is saying I would go with the AEM intake, because they come in all kinds of types and colors. If you want power, I know for a fact the injen cold air intakes DYNO more whp than the AEM.

My sugestion is for you not to waiste 300 bucks buying a cold air intake when you can spend that much and get yourself a skunk2 or edlebrock mani and gain more. Manifold, Cam, Pistons, Rods is your better bet.

Doesn't matter. Just the air filter matters.

Yea man injen intake, skunk2 or even edlebrock mani, DC 4-2-1 headers and a nice catback system should give you a good little jump in horsepower and will sound pretty good with the right muffler

I would watch it with the suspension kit though. The springs are nice, but the rear sway bar in that kit is only like 14mm I think. I would go with an ITR 23 mm bar or ASR subframe brace and ASR 24mm bar. I guess it all depends on the performance you are trying to get though

depends on where you live pretty much. i live where there is crap weather so i went with a sri. but yea i would say an intake is a supporting mod not really a performance mod.
