Default buildin a intake for 90 accor

i am getting ready to build a custom coldair intke for my car. can anyone help me with finding the tubing and what shops or mail order stores carry it. thanx

home depot has everything you need besides a conical airfilter.. get snappin in the plumbing section.

I found one for pretty cheap off ebay a long time ago, I barely installed the lower arm that directs the filter where the oem resonator box was. I had to enlarge the hole quite considerably, and also made a notch in the battery tray in order to fit the tubing. Now I need to get a wheelwell thingy to protect the filter from what the tire whips around under there.

On a side note, I hope it doesn't start to rain in L.A. anytime soon...hehe

but what is the problem with PVC? if you insulate it i dont see how it will xfer heat anyworse than some of those shitass metal ones.+

I guess you have never seen a PVC intake melt?

But if you wrap it with thermal tape it wouldnt matter too much. Its not mandrel bent anyway though. How much would it cost to buy enough PVC pipe to make a CAI?
