drivetrain clunking during braking and when going over bumps
as the topic states i am experiencing a clunking noise when ever i brake over 35 mph. i am also getting a clunking noise from the same side of the car when ever i go over a bump or manhole. it is very annoying, i am going on a 300 mile drive this weekend and i would really like to fix this when i get back. it sounds like a metal on metal noise and the vibration from the brakes gets worse when i brake harder, it is also the worst from 45-35 mph. i am suspecting lower ball joint, some weird brake problem, wheel bearing? blown shock?
repairs made: inner tie rod, new axle, new rims(should of used the money to fix this problem i know!!)can some one please help a brother out..

It could be you got a warped rotor on the right side. That would cause serious vibrations and shaking, Also could be a combo of that and blown shocks.
