Icon6 White Smoke? Help!

So a couple of months ago my 95 honda civic dx sedan was having cooling issues. The radiator was cracked and I was overheating, and at 220k miles I thought it was a good idea to redo the cooling system, namely the radiator, and thermostat.

Several months after that I noticed my car started eating coolant and overheating still until one night I felt the car behaving weirdly and a huge loss in power coupled with overheating. White smoke was coming out the end, so I guessed correctly that I had blown a head gasket. Got that redone and now, a couple months later Im having white smoke again.

Could I have blown another one so quickly? Im not losing coolant in the massive quantities that I was before.

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

it's quite possible it blew again yes. last time it went did you have the head and block checked for straightness and/or did you have either milled?

You cant just replace a headgasket and throw in the head back in without taking it to a shop to have it resurfaced.

I had it done by a mechanic friend of mine and Im not sure he milled the head or not. He is one of those people who would know about that sorta stuff and I assume he did it, but it is possible he did not.

White smoke is basically head gasket right? Could there be another source?
