Ok i have a 91 dx hatch with an obd0 to obd1 conversion harness i know where and how to check the codes i just cant get them to flash on the dash please help i need to fix these things and get my vtec working again....

 

did you try grounding out the wire at D4? that should make your ecu start spittin out codes.

 

I've never heard of doing that before is it covered in a how to and if so do you have a link

 

well first off what have you tried to make it give up the goods?

your car should have a small 2 pin connector near the blower motor by the passenger side kick panel. if you jump those 2 wires it will make the cel flash out the codes. if you cant find it for some reason then just run run a temporary wire from a ground to the spot D4 on the ecu.

Yea i know where the 2 pin connector is down by the blower motor i've tried that and couldn't get it to jump anything on the dash? so i guess i have to go straight to the problem and find the wires that do make it flash coming from the ecu...
