Default EK/B18B1 swap - Can't find service connector. How do I pull CEL codes?

I have a B18B1 in my EK, but whoever did the swap opted for an OBD1 ecu and I can't read the CEL now. I heard there's a trick to it, but I can't find out how. Any help would be appreciated.

Ground the service connector located above the ecu. If you don't know where it is search google

I read that thread but I don't see that connector. Here's a picture of how mine looks. The p Eff son I bought The car from did all this.

What year civic?

The service connector has a brown wire and a black wire. Look for those two wires.

As said it will be a small plug with 2 wires going to it. Take a pic of the wiring above your ecu

The brown wire of the service connector pins to terminal C7 of blue OBD2a ECU connector C plugged into the conversion harness. If you ground that brown wire, the CEL will blink the codes.
