Ok heres the problem. I installed a used sir ef shift linkage on my 91 hatch with a blox dual bend shifter, and my problem is that once i installed it, i couldnt get every gear in right! When i put it in 1st it was fine, then when i shift it to 2nd it went right @ an angle then down angle and left. same thing from 5th to reverse just opposite angles. Its strange, and when its in neutral its stiff and when its in 2nd it jerks far out like its in neutral. i dont think its on wrong. Every gear goes in. Also, when i tighten the bolts of the shifters linkage, it gets super stiff it relly wont move, but when i losen it up it goes evrywhere. Could any1 show me a picture of how tis supposed to go on?? Could it be the shifter bushing? the linkages are fine, there not beat or banged its something im doing wrong or the bushings. When i installed the blox shifter i put to washers inside in between the linkage where the shifter bearings are.
