Humming noise when driving
I have a 92 Honda Accord. I recently replaced my front right lower control arm and cv joint after hitting a curb due to an icy road. After I replaced these components I had my tires balanced and my car aligned. I have been noticing a humming noise, which seems to be coming from the front, when I go 35 mph or faster. I don't know if it's just the tires or what is causing it. If anyone has any ideas of what it could be, I would greatly appreciate any input.
You could do a quick tire rotation just to rule that out. If the noise is only coming from the front then it should move to the rear with the rotation if its the tires. If not, then you've ruled that out and bearings sound like the way to go.
