yep. either the reg is bad, or the channels that the window slides in are muffed up beyond repair from all the other times the window has come off

I had a regulator problem, then I changed it, but my window channel was still getting caught in the glass so I had to slowly put the window in as I moved the channel around it then if it was fine if that makes sense. So it could be a combo of both, but I'd watch the sides of the window first.

having same issue my window falls off the track everytime i roll it down. it feels like you got to crank it hard. took panel off and when i pull the window off one the sliding fitting that go on the horizontal track pops off when i force it too much. i think its the sides so was wondering how you lubed them up and what you use to so. if you got pictures that will be helpfull as well. need to fix fast its getting hot here and tired of only having my pasanger window open only.

Yeah my drive side is like that it's most like you gonna need a new window radiator. YOu can get one at autozone for under 30 buck's

on one of egs i had a similiar problem. their was an adjustment nut that was accesable once the panel was removed. if the nut is not in the proper position then the window will pop off track. you will see a few dashes on the door next to the bolt that is threaded into the regulator. the hole in the door will be elongated.
