so i know civic and crx seats usually dont bolt up and they very from the years 88-89 and 90-91. But will seats out of a 89 crx si fit into a 89 civic hb? Or how many bolts will line up?

 

if i remember they dont bolt up,civic and crx bolt holes are different.if u were to try and bolt it up u would probably get 2-3 holes bolted i think its the outside rear one that doesn't line up

yeah i would but, he wants seats that will bolt right up. You know those 'lazy' type of honda people who dont wanna work on there cars. How much do those rsx leathers goes for btw? anyone know the average price

I was wondering more along the lines of other EF's like 89-91 sedans and 89-91 hatches. I thought about CRX's too. my seats are beat to hell and anything would me an upgrade at this point. I had DA seats in my 91 and with a little grinding on the right rear bolt whole all 4 bolts held it in place. The 88 im not so sure will work.

 

Yeah true statement, but it doesnt sound too hard. I was wondering if a 89 4dr ef sedan seats will fit in a 89 hb? Turns out the crx seats only went on by one bolt lol. Is there a good seat pan swap write up here on honda-tech? looking for a '91 seat pan swap, just going to throw the crx seats into my '91 si hb

 

i have 90-91 si crx seats and i bought ef reg seats..tried to change the pan and its wider alittle and the crx foam doesnt match the pan..how would i do that.?

 

yea...ef sedan seats will bolt up on the hatch..just bought a ef sedan seat and it bolts up..my si seats was crooked and wouldnt bolt up right..

 

crx seats are wider at the base. the sliders are wider apart so only one side would bolt to a civic hatch...seen it many times. looks horrible all half ***

 

But it is still possible to change out the pans right
