You obviously haven't looked in the FAQ because this is the first link under the D-Series section:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/how-d16z6-block-d16a6-head-2754616/

Your choice of dizzy will be dictated by which ECU you are going to use.

yea yea that was one of the first ones i read cuz its the exact same as what im workin with! the guy i got it from actually ordered it from a fella off here. it needed a new head gasket cuz the head wasnt torqued fully and ended up burning coolant, when i replaced the gasket i noticed that there wasnt an oil restrictor. the guy said that he didnt have any problems relating to this but should i be ok leaving it as is?

lol i have no idea.. heres the story.. i had a 94 teg that was given to me for free after sitting for about 4 months and through a mean winter. the car ran before parked and was clean, no rust. my girls sister owned it and ran it off the road driving crazy so her parents paid off their car and after letting the teg sit gave it to me so it would get some use. went to turn the key and it would crank all day but wouldnt start so i replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, dizzy, and even ecu. had a diagnostic ran after none of these worked and it came back as electrical and with all those parts being "new" they searched wires and nothing came of it. i traded for this hatch that had a rod knock and opened it up to find that the first cylinder wont move at all and the valves were worked. ive kept in touch with the guy a traded with and he put a new ignition coil on the teg and it fired right up. the dizzy i bought was 300 and came with a coil, icm, and crankshaft position sensor. i blame autozone for a bad dizzy!!!

Never go to autozone! BAD BAD BAD, I work at a Sears and they're supposed to be our "first call" when it comes to parts. Every time we order something, its either the wrong thing or defective.
