trailing arm bushings
im trying to install trailing arm bushings for a rear disc swap and i cant get the new ones in. got a big *** hammer and they still aint going in. any help please.
as crazy as this sounds I got m energy suspension bushings in using this method. Take you trailing arm and put it on a jack. Lube the sleeve up and the bushing generously and set it on there. Then put the jack under a vehicle high enough for it to clear the trailing arm and start jacking it up. Mine popped in there using that method.
Keep in mind that most bushing bores are tapered...bushings get pressed out one way and get pressed back in in the reverse direction. This is true with all honda bores. When bushings are pressed back in the narrow portion of the bore expands and the friction or keying is what helps hold the busing in place.

The rear compensator (toe) arms are as well. But to my memory those are the only ones. All the UCA and LCA are not tapered.
