Seriously, it just shifts more quickly and at higher rpms.

Its on the shifter. When the car is in D3 or D4, after the shift, the RPM dont drop down as low so remain in the powerband longer.

That 90 LX I had for a week (bought a 90LX with no front clip .. fixed and sold) had that k-rad Sport Mode.

It was like having a 50 shawt of nawz.. but nawt.....

Accord Maniac, the 90 and 91 Accord autos had them but in 92 they did away with the idea. They realized people with automatics WANTED to go slow. Just kidding, but that's why you don't have one.

heres the real answer:

when you engage sport mode it will hold your gears longer when you are in twisties and stuff like that so the car doesn't shift unsuspected when you come into a turn. they removed it because they figured out a way to do it automatically...
