I've found where my fuel is leaking. It's leaking at where I circled in red. The fuel feed line at the fitting.

Question, what is that fitting? Do I need it? Does it contain anything special inside? Can I remove it and attach the lines together?

Yes, connect the lines together that fitting isnt needed

 

nice. this will be easier than i thought. but i still would like to do all cunifer lines.
