Default fuel leaking problems... earl's fittings

okay i have a smiliar setup to this... http://www.hondaprelude.to/install_fuelline.html

from the stock fuel filter to the rail then to the paxton FPR... the two places that's giving me leaking problems is #6 fitting and the paxton FPR return fitting.. (-6an to -4an then the barb fitting to fit the stock rubber line)... i put teflon tape on both the fittings... but it's still leaking.. Should i put teflon paste instead?? the rubber O-rings are already installed..

how do you guys have leak proof earl's lines??

thanks

btw.. here's a pic of my FPR

did you tighten the fittings completely. IF not that would be first thing second thing is the fittings properly installed. if you dont get that hose to sit all the way up tends to leak. did you usea vise for it

Yes try some paste... it may sound like it would not help but I have seen it stop a few fuel leaks when switched out for tape. Also (goes with out saying) make sure your fittings are all the right sizes it is easy to overlook when it seems tight.

JIC fitting (-AN ) have a specific torque range, you have prolly have tightened the fitting too tight and blew the rubber o-ring.

Recheck that area.

You don't use teflon tape or paste on AN fittings. They either seal with an oring (into the regulator) or seal by the 37 degree flare at the end....

I would make sure its tight enough. I didn't tighten mine and it was leaking out the little hole in the fittings. I tighten it up and it sealed correctly.
