cam timing question for f23a4 engine
Hello folks, This is my first post and probably not the last.
I have a 99 accord with the ULEV engine, f23a4, and the head gasket blew although not a large leak. The head is planed about 0.040 inch, my question is should I worry about the cam timing change? When I run the numbers 0.040 inch should be about 1 degree of cam timing advance relative to the crank? If I need to correct the timing is there some place to get a split key or adjustable sprocket? I see plenty of stuff for the F22 but not the F23.
Thanks, Steve
