I had some sparco rails in my car from my previous seats so I just used those with the kirkey side mounts. Without spacers or rails, it sits a lil low but I don't mind.

ONe of my friends is about 6"4 also, we used these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KIR-99204/
we mounted them straight too the floor on some plates. We cut all the stock mounts out of the car.

i used the kirkey brackets and bolted those to the seat, then bolted that down to the generic rails i used for my corbeau seats so no sliding available, set just for me.
