I picked up my 2010 SI 3 days ago and it was a overcast day I did not see that the paint on all most the entire was orange peeled. Can I take this back to them? will they do something for me? or do i have to live with it?

 

it's normal for factory paint to have a degree of orange peel.

 

factory paint always has a ton of orange peel..wet sand and buff...

 

Is my car base clear? don't most cars come single stage

 

after you wetsand and buff your new civic. you should have a super clean paint job. you prolly wont stop staring at it for a good couple of hours straight. lol good luck with your new civic

 

i dont think they've come single stage since the 70s. its base/clear to answer your question.

 

some dealerships will fix "paint flaws" within the first two weeks of purchase, obviously the sooner the better. you might see if your dealership will do this. it is well known that the paint on our cars sucks so it might be hard to get them to do it.

 

I am going to try to get them to do it first. I will get back to u on how that goes
