got a ticket for going doing 75 mph in 55 and no proof of insurance. i live like 4 hours away and don't really want to drive all the way down there to try and fight it. can anyone recommend a lawyer in oregon? more specifically in or around the oak grove area.

do you have insurance though? thats like $400+, and if you can show that you do have insurance, you should drive back down there..2-3 hour drive to save $400

pay it, you were doing something you weren't supposed to. I could understand if you were maybe doing 60 in a 55, but there is no way you can say you weren't at fault for 20mph's over. and if you have insurance, why wouldn't you keep it in your wallet or car? and if you don't, well that's your fault.
pay up man. you break the law that's what your going to get. your making us other safe insured honda drivers look bad

 

i was really trying to avoid having to drive down there. just sucks because i haven't gotten a traffic ticket for about 9 years, and the one time i get it, its in oregon. i was driving my friends car, and he didn't have the updated insurance card in his car. i suppose i could go to court and just show the judge i have the insurance and they should hopefully drop it.
