Some easy ground-control coilover questions
A couple nights ago I took an hour drive to a guy's house who I found on thepartstrader. I picked up a 2 month old DC 4-1 Header and 2 month old ground control coilovers for $300 total
I'm looking at putting on the coilovers before Saturday, which is battle of the imports here. Here is what came in my box, 4 rubber top cover (looks like a coaster but with a donut hole), 2 springs GC200.64.59, 2 springs GC180.64.44, 2 screw sleaves about an 1/4" not threaded a the bottom, 2 screw sleaves with about 1-1/2" inches not threaded at the bottom, and 4 of the gold colored things that screw on the sleeves.
I'm fairly positive the GC180 springs go on the back, the part that is confusing me is which sleeve set is for the front and which for the back? I'm also confused on how much of the bumpstop I have to trim down and how much of the dust cover I have to trim. These are going on a 90' CRX, if you know anything please help. Thanks

Not sure which springs go on front or back...but the sleeves are all the same size so it doenst matter where u put them. Some coilovers the springs go upside down I dunno about that either.
Take off the stock bushing(coaster thing) on your stock suspension should be a black ring..and replace it with what u got. Cut the bump stop peice in half about and put it back on....if you have lowered any cars before then you will know how to put it on but I dunno about them springs.

hmm, my sleeves aren't all the same two are about 5 inches long and two are about 7 inches long. the shorter ones have less of an area unthreaded.
Another question, the kit normally comes with rubber rings to put around your shocks, I'll have to go buy some, are the purpose of these to make the sleeve tight onto the rubber rings which are over the shocks?
I found out from someone local that the short ones sleeves go in front and the long sleeves go in back, I still need an answer on the question about the rubber rings.
The rubber O-rings are used to located the sleeve on the shock body and help prevent them from moving. You can call Ground Control if you need help-they ar very good about tech support.
