Default ECU Question.

This is probably going to sound like a dumb question to a lot of people lol. But, does it matter if an ECU came from an Automatic Transmission if you put it in a Manual car with the same motor?
Fried my H22A VTEC ECU, P13.
Found another P13, but it's for an Automagic H22A.
Mine's 5 speed, cuz, it's just pointless to have a fast car that's automatic lol.

Any way to change it to Manual? A tuner or something.

Exactly. 175 and up is all I get. For a Manual anyway.

Ya. I just sent a message about the ECU for 90 on here. I checked Craigslist, only one I found came with a full engine also and harness. He wouldn't sell them apart. Which is understandable. Waiting on a message back to see if the ECU for 90 on here is a P13. Asked for the part number on the lil sticker.

I'm probably going to order a base tuned p28 from Phearable.net. I got my last ecu from them. So I trust their work. $175 though. lol.

can't go wrong with the tried and true p28, with so many civics around those ecu's are plentiful...
