so i just got my self an 02 EP3. while going down the highway i wanted to use the cruise control and wouldnt you know it, it worked! but while going down the highway for a few miles it just shut off, i was like WTF? maybe i hit the brake or clutch and shut it off. so i turned it on again and put my feet so they where no where near them, it still shut off after a mile or so. i also observed that the green light does not come on when i push the button down(dash button), but the CC still worked(and shut off shortly after) the light sometimes comes on though(CC still stops after a while) i am stumped as to what it is. anybody else have this issue? thanks for any input.

Whats the mileage sounds like an issue with the solenoid under the hood

 

it has 124k. so it may be the solenoid.
