Icon6 If The Trans Is Over Filled

in my 87 CRX Si, FI, will that cause it to leak out of the main input shaft?

I finally got my rear main seal, and while they had the trans out, they did a bearing inside the trans and the main input shaft seal...

If my tranny fluid level is too high, will that cause the fluid to leak out of the input shaft seal and down to the bottom of the bell housing?

Nah, my 100K mile input shaft seal doesn't leak with a full quart of extra fluid in there.

Well... I brought the CRX home.. it dripped all the way home... I went to stop at my job, which requires that you park partly on a curb, I looked under the car, only see the fluid POURING OUT in a constantly drain like motion.

So, Tomorrow were gonna find out... if the axle seals are bad, or if the whole trans needs to be resealed. If it does, I want my money back.
