Default Power door lock not working, tripping mirror- 96 civic hatch

I have a pair of 99 SI power doors on my 96 hatch dx, using a 96 floor harness. Due to the fact that 99 si civics have their power lock control unit at the driver kick panel, my doors did not come with it. So I replaced my 99 DOOR harness in order to hook up this new control lock unit( light grey box), and it doesn't work. Also now my power driver mirror only moves up and down, not side to side. Everything else works. Anybody know what's the problem? My 99 si door harness worked fine on the mirrors, but it didn't have a plug for the power lock control unit.

Does the power lock control unit box has to be BLUE? The guy that sold me the grey one said it came off a 96 2 door coupe

Yeah no fuses burnt. I was wondering if I got the correct power lock control unit. Mine is light grey ( I heard it suppose to be blue)

electrical swap problems are always the hardest things to fix...i would recommend to google up the parts and then see if you have the right one and so on... but for the mean time. did you check for ground? get a volt meter and see if power is going to the power lock

You have to match up the electrical, from what i have seen. Note: I have never diagnosed this particular problem. Honda is known to have very similar hardware, if not exactly alike, wired differently from year to year. Hop online and look up the 96 and 99 wiring diagram and verify that "wire X" is going to the same place in 96 and 99. This will most likely solve your problem.
