Well, personally I do not like the Skunk2 coilovers, if I were to choose a coilover(sleeve-type) setup then I would go with Ground Controls(with the option of custom rated springs) and I do not like the Koni Reds either, I would go with the Koni yellow. Both are better setups IMHO, but if you are on a serious budget then I guess those are alright if thats what you want, I would just save for more qualit/performance products, or I would stay with the good R stock suspension until I could afford them, enjoy

negative on that purchase. no point in getting those adjustable springs unless you plan to dump it 4inches for shows. in that case, buy a different car and dump it, bc ITRs arent show cars. Just get a set of good shocks(Koni's are fine) and maybe H&R springs(sports for a avg drop, race for a lil more agressive drop). dont mess around with that skunk2 adjustable crap. just my nickle and dime.
do you know of any place that sells them for under $500?
Here's what I found when I was searching for them:

my friend has koni yellows and skunk 2 coil overs on his GSR. the ride is very good and stiffer than the R's. through turns i can definitely feel LESS body roll. he has it on the softest dampening settings so i am sure if he turned it up, it would handle even better.

Sure as hell wouldn't wanna bother w/ corner weighting the car.

reds are for girls in their hopped up imports
the reds are just do conservative. I have the yellows and they offer some nice stiffness. If budget allows try and get some shock that are adjustable in both rebound and compression. both konis from the factory only offer rebound.
even though some people dont like buying used stuff, you can get good springs/coilovers for 100-250 then new konis or bilstiens are in the range of 400-550

get the yellows from neuspeed.com
5 spring perches front and back. more fine tuning. worth the extra dough...
then again you will be getting ground controls...which are height adjustable.
