ok here is what i got.

obd1 b16a into 98 ek hatch auto matic car.
car converted to 5speed.

have obd2 automatic wire harness on engine with obd2 injectors and obd2 dizzy.
i also have jrsc hooked up and want to run obd1 chipped ecu.

i know i need conversion harness. but my question is? what can i do to convert my wire harness to run with this set up. i hear the auto harness is diff from manuel harness.

also dizzy is small 8 wire plug with only 7 wires in it.
and wire harness has the big 10 wire dizzy plug in

Use your harness you'll just have some extra plugs. Depending on your model (ie if its a DX/LX/CX) you will have to extend your primary O2 sensor to reach the new location.

its always best to use the same engine wiring harness... even if its automatic it will still read your speed but you will have 1 or 2 extra plugs that are unhooked because auto has more plug sensors... from the research i have done so i can try and help you out..

 

thanks. am i gonna have a problem if i dont use number 8 on dizzy? the one for eng speed output? sincse i have small plug
