7-02-2010----pictures of my b16 are up below. and i just confirmed that this is IN FACT a JDM transmission. pictures are of transmission before i have even cleaned anything!! there is some small dirt spots/debris from me taking off the top casing and they fell into the inside. not a hard prob to fix tho

just got a trans from a friend. was used on his race car. im pulling it apart as i speak and am going to replace any bad parts. i know for a FACT the diff is trashed, so im going to replace it with a new one along with a 4.40 ring gear. i have ALOT...and i mean ALOT of gears/syncros i can put into it. if any ones interested please let me know. will ship and can accept pay pal

well im asking 300 for STOCK and this will include new syncros, and a very thourough check over by me and another friend of mine who works at a shop by my house

thats where im at as of right now. gotta wait till i go to the shop tomorrow and clean up the one on the right and reassemble it. other than that, everything checked out to be okay

the main gears 3 and 4 are what really count so i put the b16's in replacement of the ls's. imho i really dont care for b16 transmissions cause they are high reving=gas loss more wear on parts. but i didnt say i didnt like 3rd or 4th lol. but then again i can put ANY combo togeather short aside from ctr or itr gears, which i do not have

and no to lsd but i can get it installed, but the price will be higher. i also have a welded diff dor sale if any ones interested.

 

pm me a price with the welded diff! and what is the closest comparison for the trans... i have a turbo car. .. trying to get into the 9's

right now 1-2 are ls, 3-4 b16, and 5th is ls. but can switch it up or put it all back to stock. and yes this time i have pay pal, and this **** is READY TO SHIP
