Default axel help

ok i was driving to eibach the other day then i broke down on the 91. my car felt like it slumped foward, as i put it back in to gear it wouls just rev not move at all so car had enough momentom for me to go on the side of the road i popped the hood cv boot greese everywhere and you just see the axel spining boot is ripped. i have a type r 4.4 lsd tranny me thinking its a lsd tranny both tiers are supposed to spin why when i put it to gear it doesnt move and or stall when i let go of the clutch all the way i can also put it in all gear with out using the clutch except reverse please help

ok i will put pic;s up later. i know the axel is f u c k e d lol but i though there was further damage to my tranny due to what i said about it
