JL 10w0-4 or MTX thunder 10" 5500 ???
i have these two subs laying around and thought i mind as well put one in the car since theyre just sitting around collecting dust and a little more thump sounds nice for the S2k..
obviously the specs are different between the two but not sure which one i want to go with.
the MTX is stronger but the JL is better quality right?
which would you choose and why?
i just want real clean bass..
oh and a kenwood 500w 4 channel KAC-749S amp will be powering it.

just because the jl takes less power doesnt mean it wont be loud. JL audio products are extremely efficient. Meaning less power to make the same sound. I had a 12" W3 running 300 rms in a ported box and it was louder than a 12'' Kicker comp cvr running 425 rms in the same ported box. I cant remember the DB level but there was a significant difference.
