So I had some problems with the engine for the last couple of years and it finally let go. My brother completely drove the coolant empty and created some big problems. In the end the head was warped, the timing belt cover was melted, the main bearings on #3,4 had melted plastic in the oil passage and consequently damage occured to the bearing but luckily none to the crank.

Before I found the bottom end problem, I had the head pressure tested and surfaced. After I reassembled the engine it started and ran almost instantly. But there was the bottom end knocking and oil spraying out of the front near the timing belt gear.

After taking the top end apart, I found the front rivets closest to the exhaust manifold were actually between the mating surfaces of the head and block so it kept the head from being torqued correctly allowing the oil to spray.

ON a different related note, Is there suppsed to be a removable Oil control orifce in the block between #2 and 3 cylinders or is it just a hole in the block. If there is, could this be the origination of the plastic in the oiling system at the bottom end?

If there is an Oil control orifice where can I get one (or part number), the local Honda dealer said he couldnt find one listed in his parts catalog.
