Default Debate with my Friend about LS motor

Hey This might be in the wrong section but I was debating with my friend about how much power an stock LS can make, with bolt ons and tune. he said it can make 200 HP, and i quickly disagreed with him because I can't see how bolt on can add 60 hP. He said with a tune it can go to 200 HP. What do you guys think? Can a bone stock LS motor with bolt ons and tune make 200HP? am I wrong?

Boltons meaning intake, intake manifold, header, and exhaust + tune? No, not possible.

This guy's making 175whp with an upgraded head, boltons, and a tune. I'd say around 175whp/185whp would be the max without serious modification or boost.

Maybe he is just talking about 200hp. Not actual whp. But even like that i doubt it too.

i bet if that b18 was in a eg it will be faster but still wont 200hp or whp but the weight reduction from integra to eg will benefit a LS swap

well if you add all the "advertised" claims of increased hp for those upgrades then yes.

People are idiots about Hondas, that's why. I had a random stranger in a gas station tell me his rusty DB7 ran 11s because it had an intake.

I've learned to just shake off dumb comments from the riff-raff.

with basic bolt on n/a i'd say no not possible, but with a bolt on turbo kit he could reach 250whp easily with 10 psi on the stock engine.

I believe a B18B is factory rated at 140hp +/-.

There is absolutely no way any bolt ons will add anywhere close to 60+hp.

If you find ones that do, please give me a personal phone call.
