omni or oem clutch master cylinder

Default omni or oem clutch master cylinder

i just installed a twindisk comp clutch on my hatch and im thinking about changing my master cylinder.but i cant decided if i should go with the omni or honda oem parts.

oem!! i bought one of the first batch omni master cylinders...it broke before i even got to drive the car,still sitting in the garage somewhere...

So did mine lol.

Never used it and it sat sealed, still in packaging in my garage. Went to use it this year and it was broken lol. .

For oem, is there any difference between models? Like itr or si or dx? Which do most of you run?

you have to make an adapter plate to use the s2000 cylinder

you can either use an adapter plate or you can take the linkage out of the civic one and install it into the s2000, or you can cut the s2000 one and make some more threads on it to make it fit properly. I used an adapter Plate that way i didn't have to modify my new master cylinder.
The omni is a no go, I have literally never heard anybody having one that worked at all. It's a great concept but apparently it doesnt work

I've got a Wilwood master with the QSD adaptor on my prelude, they're rebuildable and cheaper than OEM and you can get them in different bore sizes. I really like that combo.

where can i get a adapter plate?what about the hydraulic line do i have to modify it to make it work?

its sad to say mine broke as well, omni makes some good oem looking performance parts but every 1 i know has just stayed oem....
